The Bristol aeroplane Co Ltd has a long and successful history in power supply and electrical lift technology. This history can be traced back to the design and development of the EMFEM based technology lifting rings for the great aerial battleships of the early 20th century.
Samuel Benson Dogge, founder of Aero Electric Ltd, was himself an apprentice at Bristol prior to WW1. His observations there lead to his research and development of electromagnetic air pressure manipulation field generation thankfully more simply called electrical lift generation or ELG.
Bristol is of course most famous for their very powerful pre-war and wartime sleeve valve radial engines used in a variety of aircraft the most famous of which being the de Havilland Wraith:
To be honest the Minotaur is nothing more than a small brown dogs attempt at a Bristol Centaurus/Hercules mash-up but I like to use different names in my alt universe most of the time.
