Thal Interceptor

My output is no way as fast as it used to be due to a developing new mind-set and semi hiatus where I’m doing a lot of other stuff. However, with the death of artist Roy Cross back in April I had to do something. His fabulous Airfix kit box artwork made him a hero of mine going way back to my childhood and has influenced much of my 3D art.

All I had was this interceptor concept. Its part of my on-going Diesel punk Kelad V Thal 1000 year war set in an early part of that conflict … this is why I need to get out more ;)

Anyway, for better or for worse here is my little tribute to Roy Cross who died 24 April 2024, one day after his 100th birthday.

As a child and as an Adult I thank you for setting my imagination on fire.
