Fireflash (Thunderbirds)

Once you see claveworks Fireflash* profile in BOAC colours it never looks right in anything else again in my opinion – I have always thought of it as the VC10 of the 2060’s anyway.

The machine is as magnificent as it is crazy with its 900plus feet length, atomic engines and a top speed in excess of 4000MPH. It was just a schoolboy melt down when it appeared in the amazing pilot episode of Thunderbirds “Trapped in the sky” way back in September 1965…
… oh hell, 1965. I think I just depressed myself!
